If you’re not receiving push notifications, check the most common causes first:
Most likely
You might not be logged in to the mobile app.
Push notifications are sent through the School Signals app. Check that you've downloaded the app, logged into the app and not using School Signals in a mobile browser.Push notification settings could be turned off in the app.
Go to My Account → Notifications and double-check that push notifications are enabled.Enable notifications for School Signals in your device settings.
Check your phone settings and ensure School Signals notifications are enabled.Check that your phone’s Do Not Disturb or Focus mode is off. These modes may prevent push notifications sending.
You’ve muted a chat conversation.
If you’ve muted a chat thread, notifications for new chat messages are not sent to you.
Less likely
No internet connection
Push notifications need Wi-Fi or cellular data to work.If Low Power Mode is enabled on your iPhone, it can sometimes delay or limit notifications.
