Chat System Notifications
In the chat bubble icon on the top right of your screen, a number indicates that you have unread messages.
Email Notifications
You can choose between an instant or daily email notification on new messages. Set your notification preferences in My Account > Notifications.
Please note that instant notifications for new chat messages include a short delay of a few minutes. If you are actively chatting, you won’t need immediate notifications. The buffer helps prevent unnecessary email notifictions.
App Push Notifications
When you receive a message, you will get a push notification. Download the School Signals app. On your device, in your phone's Settings menu, allow School Signals to send push notifications.
Muted Chats Are Excluded From Notifications
Check by clicking the chat's "i" icon that you have not muted the specific chat thread.
