Check the Parent's Access
Go to Admin > Parent Accounts, find the parent, and confirm that they are connected to a student who is currently active at the school.
If the message was posted to a specific Classroom, Club, or Group, open that area and check its member list to make sure the parent is included.
Check the Post's Delivery Report
Open the post's Delivery Report to see whether an email was delivered or a text message was sent to the parent.
The Delivery Report can quickly help determine whether the notification was sent and which delivery method was used.
If the Delivery Report shows that the email was delivered, ask the parent to check their spam or junk folder. This is one of the most common reasons a parent may not see a message.
Review the Parent's Notification Settings
From Admin > Parent Accounts, use the management menu for the parent to review their notification preferences.
As a School Admin, you can view these settings, but you cannot change them on the parent's behalf.
Also confirm the email address where the parent expects to receive notifications.
Keep in mind:
Email notifications may be set to Immediate, Daily, or Off.
Text and voice notifications are only sent for Priority posts.
For Mobile Push, the parent must have the School Signals app installed, be signed in, and allow notifications on their device.
Check The Account Status
If the parent has never logged in and their account shows as pending or invited, they will only receive daily notifications if your school has daily notifications to inactive accounts enabled.
The parent may have also deactivated their account which stops notifications.
Check the Student's Status
If the student associated to the parent has been marked as deactivated or left the school, the parent will no longer receive school notifications (unless they have other students in the school), even though they can still log in.
