Yes. While your school is in Setup mode, you can test the platform and notifications before your official launch.
Testing the Platform
Invited admins and teachers can log in and test the platform.
Up to 10 invited parent accounts can log in and test the platform.
Testing Notifications
You can test notifications with accounts that you mark as verified.
Invite these verified accounts individually. Verified accounts must log in to School Signals to activate their accounts.
If a user is not receiving notifications
While the school is in Setup mode, check the following:
The account is not marked as verified. Setup mode requires the user's email address to be verified before notifications can be sent.
The user has not been invited to School Signals.
The user has not activated their account in School Signals.
The user is not a member of the group, classroom, or program where the post was made.
Their notification settings are turned off. They can check these under My Account → Notifications.
For push notifications, make sure the user is logged into the School Signals app and that notifications are enabled for the app on their device.
The account email contains a typo.
The user's email inbox is full.
