"No limit" allows the user to submit the form as needed. The number of submissions is not capped.

"Fill max once" allows the user to submit the form one time only. If the form is requesting parent to select a student name, in that case, a parent can fill out the form one time per each student.

Additionally, you have an option to allow or disallow edits after a parent has submitted the form. This setting is independent.
