How do I get text and/or voice messages?

School Signals sends text message notifications and voice message notifications on Priority Posts. These posts are made by your school administrators, teachers, and coaches.

To receive text and voice messages, you must opt in by verifying your phone number and setting your notifications to receive texts and/or voice messages. If you don't verify your phone number, you can still receive the same communication by email and app push. All communication is also retained in the School Feed in School Signals. Text and voice messages are designed to provide additional reach so you don't miss anything important.

Step 1: Go to My Account > Notifications.

​Step 2: Click the Verify your number to opt in button.

Step 3: Enter your phone number to the form field. Click Verify.

Step 4: You will receive a verification code via text message. Please enter the verification code.

Note: You only need to verify your phone number once. In your My Account > Notifications, click any blue button that says "Verify your number to opt in."

Please note: In case of an emergency, schools have the right to send text and voice message that override your user preferences. Learn more.
