As a School Admin, you can remove a user from the chat thread.
Click the 'i' icon at the top corner of the chat thread. Select Chat members
On desktop you can also access the Chat members link from the three-dot menu on the left side panel that lists all your chat threads.
A panel opens up that lists the chat members. On the right side of the user's name, click the three-dot menu and select Remove from chat
