An online form template aims to speed up the creation of online forms. School Signals provides common online form templates. You can also create and add your form templates for the use of your school's admins and teachers.
A template form is a non-published form. A template form can be used to create a form. Before publishing the form, you can customize the form for your needs by adding/removing form fields and editing any field names.
How to Use a Template Form?
When ready to use a template form as a draft, go to the Templates page, preview the form, and click Use next to the form name. Then proceed with the regular online form creation steps.
Using Templates as Conference, Volunteering and Event Forms
Additionally, template forms are essential when you add an online form to a Parent-Teacher Conference page, Volunteering page, and Event page.
To add an online form to those features, go to the feature's Forms tab and select the Template form to be added to the page. In this use case, ensure that your template form is ready to go as is and does not require edits.
