Draft access depends on the type of content and the roles your school assigns.
Draft conferences, forms, pages, and documents
Only School Admins can access and manage these draft items.
Teachers and Parents cannot be granted school-wide admin rights for conferences, forms, pages, or documents.
Teachers and Parents can add forms, pages, or documents within specific Classroom and Group admin roles to Classrooms and Groups
Draft events and volunteering opportunities
School Admins
Can view and edit all draft events, volunteering opportunities, and groups.
Parent Admins
Can manage (see, edit and publish) draft events and and volunteer listings made by other teachers and parent admins.
Cannot manage (see, edit and publish) draft events and and volunteer listings created by School Admins.

Examples: Event Draft Review and Publishing
8 Grade Field Trip by Parent
Ms. R., a parent with the Event Admin role, creates a draft event for the 8th Grade Field Trip. All School Admins and Parent Admins (with event admin rights) can see the draft, review it, and publish it.
Spring Dance by School Admin
A School Admin creates a draft event for the Spring Dance. Ms. R. can review and publish the event draft if:
• School Admin has added her as an event admin for that event, or
• The event belongs to a group she manages.
• If neither applies, the draft will not be visible to her.
Examples: Group Draft Review and Publishing
Fundraiser Planning Group by Parent
Ms. R., a parent with the Group Admin role, creates a group called Fundraiser Planning Group. She keeps it in a draft mode. All School Admins can see the draft. A School Admin can review and publish the group.
Book Club by School Admin
A School Admin creates a draft group called Book Club. Ms. R. can review and publish the group if:
• School Admin has added her as a group admin for that group, or
• If this does not apply, the draft group will not be visible to her.
Examples: Volunteer Draft Review and Publishing
School-wide Volunteer Listing by Parent
Ms. R. creates a draft volunteer listing for a school-wide need (for example, “Cafeteria Volunteers”). She can create this listing if she has Volunteer Admin rights with School-wide access enabled. All School Admins and Parent Admins (with volunteer admin rights) can see the draft, review it, and publish it.
Classroom Volunteer Listing by Parent (Volunteer Admin scope)
Ms. R. creates a draft volunteer listing for the 8th Grade Classroom. She can create this listing because she is a member of the Classroom and has been granted Volunteer Admin rights in her account's settings. All School Admins, the classroom teacher, and the Parent Classroom's admins can see the listing and publish it.
Classroom Volunteer Listing by Parent (Classroom Admin scope)
Ms. R. creates a draft volunteer listing for the 8th Grade Classroom. She can create this listing because she's been given Group Admin rights and added as Classroom Admin to the classroom. All School Admins, the classroom teacher, and the Parent Classroom's admins can see the listing and publish it.
Volunteer Opportunities Created by School Admin (Event-linked)
A School Admin creates draft volunteer opportunities for the Spring Dance event. Ms. R. can see and publish those draft volunteer opportunities only if:
The School Admin has added her as a volunteer admin for that opportunity, or
The opportunity belongs to an event (or group) she manages.
If neither applies, the draft volunteer opportunities will not be visible to her.
