Who can edit the Program?
School Admins can edit any program. Teacher can edit the program they've created. Program Admins (indicated in the Add Program interface) have full editing rights to their program.
Who can be added as the Program Admin?
First, make sure the person you want to add as a Program Admin has the right type of account configuration. The account needs to be one of the following:
School Admin account
Teacher account
Parent Admin (program admin rights need to be checked)
Community User account with Program Admin rights checked.
How do I give a parent Program Admin rights?
This feature is for School Admins only.
Go to Admin > Parent Accounts, and select Edit from the parent account's management menu.
Scroll to the end of the page, and check Program Admin under Additional Rights.
Click Update.
You can now add this parent as a Program Admin on the Add/Edit Program interface. Note that the account must be activated, i.e., the parent has logged in at least once.
How do I give an instructor Program Admin rights?
If this user does not have School Admin, Teacher or a Parent account, give the user a Community User account. Community User accounts are managed by School Admins only.
Adding a Community User Account
Go to Admin > Community Users.
Click the + Add Community User button.
Add the details as requested. Select Program Admin from the Primary Role drop-down menu.
Check the checkbox to send an invitation email.
Click Save.
Adding a Community User Account with Program Admin Rights for the Specific Program
You can only add activated accounts as Program Admins. After the instructor has received the invitation email, logged in and accepted the Terms of Use for School Signals, you can add this instructor as a Program Admin on the Add/Edit Program interface.
How do I enter the Program Admin to the Add/Edit Program Interface?
Open the Add/Edit Program interface.
Click Edit in the Program Admins interface.
Begin by typing in the Program Admin's name, and select the prompted name from the drop-down menu.
Click Save.
How do I remove the Program Admin from the Add/Edit Program Interface?
Simply delete the name and click Save.
