How do I moderate the chat?

The role of the School Admin is to monitor the chat in case of a report. You are notified about any reports.

As a School Admin, you can review chat threads and take action. Depending on the severity of the violation of the school's policies, a school admin has a right to:

  • leave a comment on the chat thread

  • delete an individual comment that's been reported

  • remove a chat member from the thread

As a School Admin, you can access all chats - even those that are not reported. Therefore, parents are advised to limit chatting to sharing school information only. All users are notified about this at the top of the chat. Schools should additionally communicate the purpose of the communication channel to parents.
