What is the AI Monitor?
The School Signals AI Monitor, built with the AWS Bedrock Guardrails, scans the School Feed and Private Messaging content to filter out concerning posts or comments. The AI Monitor examines both the use of language and its context.
What are the AI Monitor setting options?
School Admin can:
Set the monitor to Low, Medium, or High, or turn it off entirely.
Adjust the settings by posts by parents, replies by parents, posts by teachers, and replies by teachers.
For instance, the School Admin can set the AI Monitor to High for posts by parents and low for posts by teachers.
How do School Admins review flagged content?
Go to School Feed > Feed Mgmt > Reported Posts.
To view the reported post, click View.
In the post's three-dot menu, click either Approve or Delete.
How to adjust the AI Monitor Setting?
The AI Monitor is set to Medium strictness by default. To adjust the setting, go to School Feed > Feed Mgmt > Posting Rights.
